James R. Visage,., Sr 85, of Athens, died Thursday morning, August 18, 2016 at Life Care Center of Athens. He was a native of Cleveland, Tennessee and was a son of the late Jacob and Mattie Visage. James was a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy after serving in the Navy he later served in the U.S. Air Force where he attained the rank of Captain. He was a Civil Engineer in private life. He was a Life Master for Bridge.

There will be a graveside service conducted, 10:30 am, Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at Chattanooga National Cemetery with Military honors provided by the U.S.Air Force.
